Hi there! let me start off by telling you about my cat. She is a beautiful albino, sky blue eyes, deaf cat. We got her in her teens. She was a stray a friend found. This has been 2years ago. since then i have had her fixed and all shots and luekemia tested. never has this cat been ill with exception to a small cold. ok here is my issue. my baby 2 weeks ago got a spot on her inner thigh that had two lines running through it. 3 days later the spot was the size of a nickol, bald and now had crusted little spots on it and no more lines. ok got worried called the vet. so i took her in and they gave her a steroid shot and told me to put trisaderm on it 2 times a day. ok then they treat her for earmites. ok this cat has not been outside for 2 years i cannot get rid of the earmites and so they tell me she has an ear infection. ok again trisaderm in the ears also. come back in 2 weeks. that same evening i noticed her pupil would not dialate. ok called the vet again that morning. took her in. they said that they think she had a reaction to the ear cleaner when treating her. sent her home. ok now 2 days later she is vomiting. she has vomited 6 tims in 8 hours. she has never thrown up before. called the vet again and they are putting her on antibotics this evening. ok perfectly healthy cat goes from healthy to one problem after another.... what do you think????? her eye is looking better also.

Hi there! I'm sorry your baby is sick. Let me tell you a little story. My sister's cat fell sick a while back (she's a really old kitty). Dolly wasn't eating or drinking much at all. So my sister took her to the vet. He told her that it was her time, and to put her down. My sister wasn't ready to do this, so she got a second opinion. Come to find out, it was an infection in her teeth. All that had to be done was to remove a couple of her teeth. My sister was so mad at the other vet. My point is, get a second opinion. Some vets may see things that other vets do not. Dolly is around 22 years old now. She does have problems though, she has had cancer in her vocal cords which were removed about 6 years ago. She is on thyroid medication, and a couple other meds. But my sister was so happy that she got that second opinion! My sis has 6 cats. I have 9. I know how you feel though. Helpless. Try another opinion, it can't hurt anyway. I hope everything works out well for you and your baby. Keep me posted! Desirae

I agree, see another vet ASAP for an opinion. Our furbabies are too important to not seek out the best care for them!
