HI. I know how you feel and am now caring for a 10 year old calico tabby who has develop a lump on her throat. She is still running around, happy, and eating, so I decided to just let it go. The vet said that was either an infect gland or a tumor - but to deal with it would make it spread. So I'm at peace to just let her be herself. She cannot stand to take medicines.
