I have a cat named Boo Boo because she is mostly deaf. I brought her into my home in early January. Well, she is pregnant, and about ready to bust by the looks of her. Her nipples are very swollen and she is crying around and not stayng put in one place very long. I made her a nest box, which she seems interested in but doesn't stay there. She keeps going to the litter box, like she has to go but doesn't. She stopped eatting last night...or just a few bites. Well, I am nosey, and I want to be there when she had the babies. How long can a cats labor last? Any REAl signs birth is about to commence? HELP I am nervous and can't sleep for worrying about her. I know, probably being ridiculous, but I care about my Boo Boo kitty!! Anita

They have a 65 day gestation peroid. Usually they find a quit place to have the kittens, sometimes they will have them where they feel comfortable even on your bed. Is she breathing fast, Clutching her claws into the carpet or whatever? If you think she is in labor and has not delivered at least 1 kitten after 2 hours get her to a vet! she may be having serious trouble. If the kittens do not have fur it means they are pre-mature and need to see a vet. Its normal to have 1 or 2 still borns even in a healthy litter, but if there are more than that something is wrong possibly pre-mature see a vet. My cat is due any time now We just saw the vet on Sunday (urgent care) She told us what i just relayed to you. Best Wishes God Bless, Annette

If I may ask, why did you have to give Lilly away when you were pregnant? Anita
