got 2 kittens from the pound and have problem!

I paid $20 for them and got 2 vouchers to have them spayed when they are old enough. My problem is the kittens are Feral. They are so mean and I have a 3 yr old little girl who I don't want bitten. I am wondering since I have my reciept, vouchers, and I just got them today, will the pound let me trade them in tomorrow for 2 nicer kittens that don't bite, scratch, and hiss all over the place? I don't want a refund, just to trade them in, think that will be a possibility? Thanks Angela

Im sorry to hear that you are having problems with them.I would think that you could take them back but Im not sure.Are they both girls?Are you still looking for a male? Kristal

i am new to the board.. first i'd like to say hi and that im sorry also that you are having trouble with the kittens. I guess Im a lil concern becuz you want to "trade" them in for new ones. They are actually living beings and probably just need a little time and care. I rescued 3 feral kittens and had to keep them quaranteened for a few weeks but persistancy helped them to grow in to beautiful cats who adore my whole family. I now have 7 cats and 2 dogs and my feral kittens have fulfilled my life a whole lot. I do understand your concern but maybe you can just keep them away from the baby for now and try to be patient. they have already been dumped off once... Jeanine
