introduce a new cat to dog

Here is a technique I saw on animal planet. Rub each of you pets with a clean towel. Rub them very thoroughly so that their scent is really heavy on the towel. Then take that towel and use it like a placemat under the other pets food dish. This not only gets them used to each others scent but they learn to associate the scent with something positive, FOOD!
