My sister had the same problem with her male cat and the vet said he is bored. He also said get him a playmate, cat's don't really like to be alone. He also suggested the "friend" be a female as they get along better. She got a female, they hated each other, but she had to go out of town on a biz trip. She boarded them and the people there said they would solve the problem. They caged them together in a large cage and by the time she came back they were sleeping on top of each other. That was a few years ago and they are still chummy and he is totally non-aggressive now. You might try it. You can never have too many cats, you know! It just multiplies the love!!

Oh Grace oh my Grace he stills wild his getting wilder and I have no idea why, he scratches me all the time, oh I hope you can see my hands but at the same time he is the cute's cat, right now he is sitting in my lap while I write this emailand you know the funny thing is that he does it to me, he tried once to do it to my Mom but she gave him a look that I think make him think twice before "atacking" my Mom.....Will see if he changes at all, I think he may be a little spoiled(can you spoiled a pet????) Last weekend I was sick and I was in my bed most of the weekend, well Sunday evening he jumped on my bed went inside my sheets and curled up there all night long, he didn't even eat or do anything at all(he usually plays all night long)I think he knew I wasn't feeling good, so there is my story just by doing that he melted my heart, he is getting sleepy, hey Grace how come he sleeps all day long and stays up all night long is that normal?????I mean he is not a little kitten anymore..... Please keep on sending me tips I'm desperate here remember this is my first cat ever I'M LOST IN TRANSITION HELPPPPPPP! Hugs****Celi

Hi Celi! You know, I believe that cats sense when their human owners don't feel good. They can be 'loving & supportive' when we feel lousey. I've had that happen to me! Celi, cats spend a lot of the day sleeping, and love to play at night! That's just the way they are when they're kitties. I don't know why that is. And oh yes, you CAN spoil a pet!! We had to put our Mittens to sleep 3 weeks ago. So we only have one cat now. She was very sick. 12 years old. Good luck with that adorable kitty! =^..^= Hugs, Grace
