Topic: RE: We have nine!!
I have ten! My hubby has the biggest heart. He brings home "babies" all the time from his job. They are usually sickly and we have to nurse them back to health. We usually find someone else to adopt those but the ones we have are all related. Either litter mates or next generation. We have four that live outside by their own choice. The rest of them are terrified of the outdoors.

Hi Erin, My name is Karee and I haven't had WLS yet. I'm going to a seminar Aug 26th and doing all my paperwork then to be sent to insurance so hopefully I'll be on the losing side soon. Anyway - I have 2 cats - one weighs 34lbs - like mother -like son - loves to eat - my other cat only weighs 12lbs - Everytime she eats she upchucks- vet says there is nothing wrong with her - I used to have a dog (terrier/schnazer) but one hot day he laid under my car and went into a deep sleep. Me & my 2 kids got into the car making all kinds of noises and he never came out. I didn't think anything about looking to see if he was under my car because he never lays there, but he was there and I ran over him and he died. I cried for days. I kept asking myself why didn't I look under the car, why didn't I do this or that - my husband said that he had to be in a very deep sleep because he would have woke up when he heard the kids or the car start up - Still doesn't make it better. How old is your baby? What a cutie!!

We were looking to purchase some Ragdolls earlier this year. Instead, we found these two kittens just about ready to faint in the hot heat here in the Mid-South. Humidity here is so high it will make a fly move slow. Post a pic!

Topic: RE: MY CAT
Hi Robin; My name is Stephanie and I have 2 cats. One is Felix, he is mostly white with black around the face and back. he has the tips of his ears and the tip of his tail is white and the rest of that is black. He thinks he is a dog though. you cannot leave anything out. he carries my hair scrunchies around in his mouth. I left a fingernail file out and came back for it and he was carring it off to hid. My other cat is Tigger. he is about 7 years old and is my baby. He is a grey and white stripped tabby. but he will cuddle with me in the bed and sleep next to me. I don't have a date yet for surgery but i put my insurance paperwork in and it wasn't denied. So i am looking forward to getting on with the program. This message board is really great. It has helped me answer alot of questions. Good luck with your surgery. Stephanie, Marion, Ms.

Topic: Male cats in the house
Do any of you keep your unfixed male cats in the house? If so how do you do it. I bought a male bengal and thought that once he was mature and started to spray we would build an outdoor cat house that was very nice for him and just bring him in to play. But now I have gotten so attached to him and he is so sweet I am having a hard time imagining putting him out. I have almost decided to get another cat to breed and just have him fixed. Any suggestions on what I can do? I was just wondering what others were doing with theres?

Hi Robin, I am new on obestiyhelp.com too. And I loved your post about your cat! I have a black cat (someone once told me she was a british short hair black cat. ) I dont really know for myself what kind of a cat she is. I just know that I love her and all her silly ways. She is about 7 yrs and still has a lot of energy! We have a lot of fun together and I wouldnt trade her for another cat in the world. The week of my surgery I got the news that correspondence college course I had completed had graduated me. That was a big pick me up after my surgery which hadnt gone well. I am much better now 3 mos later. Take care and write back soon. Jessica J
