They have a 65 day gestation peroid. Usually they find a quit place to have the kittens, sometimes they will have them where they feel comfortable even on your bed. Is she breathing fast, Clutching her claws into the carpet or whatever? If you think she is in labor and has not delivered at least 1 kitten after 2 hours get her to a vet! she may be having serious trouble. If the kittens do not have fur it means they are pre-mature and need to see a vet. Its normal to have 1 or 2 still borns even in a healthy litter, but if there are more than that something is wrong possibly pre-mature see a vet. My cat is due any time now We just saw the vet on Sunday (urgent care) She told us what i just relayed to you. Best Wishes God Bless, Annette

Congratulations on your grandbabies. You can get an online photo album. I think that there are a number of places that have them. Ofoto.com; myphotoalbum.com; photos.yahoo.com When you upload you can just refer to the link in your profile or something. Hope that helps! - Sharon

Feel free to e-mail me if you can help me with that. BooBoo is still sleeping in my bed with the babies! I stripped the sheets and washed and bleached everything quite a mess...but even afetr I put her in her nesting box, she moved them right back up onto the between the covers next to me! LOL..she loves me and I love me "grandkittnes" Anita

Anita - Congratulations!! Though sorry about the bed thing. Obviously she felt most safe and secure in the place where you are. Quite a complement. So, how many babies total? and... will you be posting pictures in your profile? - Sharon

Cheryl, I'm sorry to hear that Callie is unwell. Her behavior is indicative that she isn't feeling well. Did your vet do a full workup to identify any other potential issues? The last time my baby, Boady, behaved like that she was constipated. But then she wasn't having accidents, only the hiding and feeling lousy behavior. But I digress. When Boady is in a blue funk I have one treat that she will always eat. It's freeze dried chicken or Salmon by Liv-a-littles. I buy them from an online store called "nature of the pet". They are high in protein with no fillers.( http://)store.yahoo.com/natureofthepet/health-food---treats--cat-treats.html I hope that Callie feels well soon. - Sharon

I have a cat named Boo Boo because she is mostly deaf. I brought her into my home in early January. Well, she is pregnant, and about ready to bust by the looks of her. Her nipples are very swollen and she is crying around and not stayng put in one place very long. I made her a nest box, which she seems interested in but doesn't stay there. She keeps going to the litter box, like she has to go but doesn't. She stopped eatting last night...or just a few bites. Well, I am nosey, and I want to be there when she had the babies. How long can a cats labor last? Any REAl signs birth is about to commence? HELP I am nervous and can't sleep for worrying about her. I know, probably being ridiculous, but I care about my Boo Boo kitty!! Anita

Hi y'all. My sweet girl, Callie, who is 9 years old is failing. For the last couple of months, we've been going to the vet on a regular basis because she initially started having "accidents" around the house. She would be laying down and urinate where she was laying. The vet treated her for a UTI / Kidney infection. I changed her food to a sensitive systems and hairball combination because she's a puker and a hairballer. She seemed to be doing okay, but then it started again. The vet put her on 28 days of antibiotics and she is consistently losing weight. She still drinks water, but doesn't want to eat. I didn't want to put her on wet food, but at this point, I'll do anything to save my baby. She doesn't seem to be having accidents anymore, but I just can't stand to see her so sad and unhappy. She just lays around and hides from me and everyone else in the house. This cat is my heart and I need some suggestions on what else I can do for her to get her to eat and put some weight on. I did get her to eat some tuna and the juice yesterday. But she's even snubbing treats!!!! Does anyone have any suggestions for food that I can try that she might eat? Or vitamins that I can give her? Anything? Thanks in advance! Cheryl

HI. I know how you feel and am now caring for a 10 year old calico tabby who has develop a lump on her throat. She is still running around, happy, and eating, so I decided to just let it go. The vet said that was either an infect gland or a tumor - but to deal with it would make it spread. So I'm at peace to just let her be herself. She cannot stand to take medicines. My heart is with you cause I'm sure soon I'll be going thoruigh what you are doing. God Bless - - Barb in the Redwoods who is waitinf ro surgery in March.
