When i travel with my cats i take there crates and line them with a towel or something soft and put them in the floor of the car and they will ride in them. i do not close them. My cats where raised in them so they are comfordable in them. i bottle fed them and kept the in one at knight.It also keeps them safe when i stop and get out of the car i can close the door and they can't get out of the car.

I was so worried about my babies when i when in for my surgery. They are fine cloe has never wanted to be held but when i got home she wanted me to hold her all the time.Sassy stayed gone for a week and then poked her head in the door wanting something to eat.They both doin ok.

Your poor kitties!
My kitty hates the car. Meows the whole time. The only way I can get her to 'relax' is to give her a special snack of freeze dried anchovies. She loves them. I'm hoping that it will create a pavolv effect. Cars = Yummies!

Ok here is a story about my crazy puppy-kitty (that is what I call her! Her name is Jaeda and she is a multi colored cat when her hair is brushed back she is gray but if you bru**** the wrong way she is white??? weird I know. She was a stray, I found her outside work and the vet said she was only 4 weeks old (I hate people who desert animals) Any way she is about 9 months old now and she thinks she is a dog. She love to play hide and seak (I hide, she seaks) she carries little pices of paper in her paws and throws it just to go fetch it. She loves to sneak up on me when I am walking around the house and try to bite my ankles. One really funny thing she did was...... I have a cat tower that goes from the floor to the celing and she was sleeping on the middle shelf. She rolled over in her sleep and fell right off the tower. She looked so darn confused and cute when she landed. My poor puppy-kitty. If you check out my profile, there is a picture of her on it.

These are some really cute stories. I love to hear about people who take good care of their animals especially cats. I have one, Queen Katalina. 
She is a lynx point siamese with of course blue eyes. She is the love of my life. She is an indoor only cat but gets to go out on the balcony when I am home. She is my shadow, always follwing me around. She likes to sleep by my side with her head in my armpit. Go figure. When I lay on my side, she sleeps on my hip. She has lots of different beds, but prefers me instead. She comes to me when I whistle and she will lick me on the cheek if I lean down by her and ask for kisses. When she is on the balcony, she catches falling leaves and brings them inside to me for praise. My little hunter I tell her. Her favorite toys are the small knitted ponytail holders. I call them her fuzzies. She will play with them by herself, throwing them into the air and swatting them. Somehow she gets them to move as if they were alive scattering across the kitchen floor. Sometimes I wake up with them in my bed or find them in my shoes. That's cats for you. Independent but needy.

I thought I was the only one *****ferred to their cat as a child or a baby. My cat, Katalina, is also really spoiled. She is an indoor only cat and being the only one gets all the attention. All my friends know about Katalina, since I talk about her all the time and even carry her picture in my wallet. She is number one in my life. By the way, within the next month, I will have my online cat business up and going. Let me know if you would be interested in being on my notification list. I will then send you an email when It is up and running. I am working hard to get it running within the next month. Anyway, good luck with your move. I pray everything will go smoothly and your babies won't get too upset.

AWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! My kitties loved the car! We would go to the beach and dig in the sand.... Now they hate the car---- all they do is cry and hid under the seat.... I guess they think i am taking them to the VET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT IS SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have four cat children ranging in age from 13 to 5 and I love them soooo much. They are so overprotected and their little paws never touch concrete outside. Anyway, we are getting redy to move to Chicago from Norfolk, VA and my woderful hubby has agreed to take 2 of the babies in his car and we have to have them on valium to relax them for this drive and I am going to take the other 2 in my car. Now they love to ride in the cat. My 13 year old will stick his head out the window to feel the breeze and he lays in my lap alot. What a drive this is going to be. I have told them about it and they are indenial right now. I am going to have to get a bunch of kitty treats to make it up to them. But they are worth it. I have 1 son and thry mean almost as much to me as he does.
