we call our cat mrs queen because we believe she thinks she is. her name is bianca. solid white with sky blue eyes and deaf. she was a stray when we got her and now she is part of the family. shes been sick lately but is feeling much better now after the antibotics.
bianca loves to play. when i broke my leg and couldnt do anything else i taught her to fetch. i have a grabber and i would pick up her fuzzy little mice and throw them and she all of a sudden one day started bringing them back to me. it is so cute. she is the best little cleaner of shelves and tables. anything moveable she knocks onto the floor. walah table clean... she meows at the bathroom sin****il you come in and turn the water on so she can lap the fresh water. she is the queen of the cooper household. she hollars and we jump. lol

Hi, Alice! I love my cats more than anything!!!!! I, also, have 3.
Tigger will be 10 next month. She weighs 12 pounds. We got her from the shelter when she was 4 years old!! Her family all of a sudden decided they didn't want her any more - unbelievable!!! She is a beautiful torty Maine coon and very lovable!! She loves to sit on the screened-in porch and "chatter" at birds and squirrels!
Peepers just turned 2 yesterday. She weighs 8 pounds. She was a stray from a friend of mine. (She had the mom cat and her 8 babies!!) Peepers is black - and so precious!!! She loves to play fetch with her furry mice or her fuzz balls. She comes up to you with a fuzz ball in her mouth and "peeps" at you to throw it.
Our newest baby is Miss Chickapea. She is almost 5 months old and only weighs 3 pounds!!! She was the runt of a litter that was abandoned by their mother at 2 days old. She was bottle fed by my friend until she was 4 weeks and then I took her. She fit in the palm of your hand!!!!!!!! Now she is a feisty little dickens - into everything and a bundle of love!!!!! She is calico.
So that's all my babies - I love them bunches!! I think that will be the worstpart of the hospital stay - not seeing my babies and waking up in the morning getting my faced bathed!! Best of luck to you all and I enjoy all the stories!!!

I agree, see another vet ASAP for an opinion. Our furbabies are too important to not seek out the best care for them!

Oh my goodness. Cat stories? I have 9 babies. I have tons of stories. Too many to tell all right now, but let me tell you a little about my babies. I have Cinderella (white and gray), Mischief (gray tiger), Toby (long-haired black 22 lb. kitty), Jasmine (tiny white and gray), Molly (Jasmine's sister, tiny black kitty), Snickers (little calico, Molly's baby), Bailey (big long-haired gray, Molly's other baby), Gypsy (all gray with a black nose!) and Seymour (pure white yellow eyes). There is that all of them?
Anyway, they are all so unique and special in their own ways! They are spoiled and fresh! Most of my kitties I rescued from abandonment and abusive homes. Molly was 3 days short of having her babies when I got her. The guy who had her put her outside to fend for herself because she was eating too much. Hello, she was so pregnant. But anyway, Molly likes to head-butt me. She and Jasmind don't like to be held, but they like to jump on my lap and head-butt my head. Its really cute. Toby likes to be held upside down like a baby, and have his belly rubbed. And he also likes me to throw treats up in the air so he can catch them (or try anyway!) in his mouth. If the treat hits the ground, he will not eat it. Sometimes he catches it in his paws. He will also sit when you tell him to sit. Seymour watches TV. They really do lots of crazy things, and I love them so very much. It sounds like you love yours like crazy too! I love to hear stories of cats in happy homes, because there are so many that are stray and unloved. Write back with more stories, as will I!!!

Hi there! I'm sorry your baby is sick. Let me tell you a little story. My sister's cat fell sick a while back (she's a really old kitty). Dolly wasn't eating or drinking much at all. So my sister took her to the vet. He told her that it was her time, and to put her down. My sister wasn't ready to do this, so she got a second opinion. Come to find out, it was an infection in her teeth. All that had to be done was to remove a couple of her teeth. My sister was so mad at the other vet. My point is, get a second opinion. Some vets may see things that other vets do not. Dolly is around 22 years old now. She does have problems though, she has had cancer in her vocal cords which were removed about 6 years ago. She is on thyroid medication, and a couple other meds. But my sister was so happy that she got that second opinion! My sis has 6 cats. I have 9. I know how you feel though. Helpless. Try another opinion, it can't hurt anyway. I hope everything works out well for you and your baby. Keep me posted!

Oh my! Do you have realyl talented cats or what??? Please reply with your cute cat stories and tricks!!!!!!!!
They always make me happy!
I have three cats... First of all everyone says cats are sooo independent and not like dogs, who coem when u want. My cats are like that, but they are there when I need love. Its like they know when I am sad or need a friend.
I have a cat (black and white) tuxedo cat and he is 18lbs! He is the biggest pig--- always wants food. He will open a draw (knows where the treats are) and drag the treat bag and rip it open. WOW! He also never stops crying when u are in the kitchen. He also can open cabinet doors and hide with the pantry items.
I have a white cat with orange on the head and tail only. He is the loner cat. He loves to be a baby and climb on me. He goes to my neck and paws me like I am momma with milk. He sucks my neck and paws. THIS IS WEIRD TO ME !!!!!!!!!!! Anyone else's cat do this???? He also loves WATER. He always tips water cups over to get the water out. Drinks from the toliet and loves the shower!!!!!!!!!!! He even lays in the sink! Weird!
I also have a new kitten (grey striped tabby) and he is very lovey. Always purring, but has claws that are sooooo sharp. He is already 8 lbs! We feed um' good! He loves to play with lids of water bottles... carries them around and plays with um all over the house
Ok--- please reply with your stories and about u r beloved cats!!!!!!!!

Hi there!
let me start off by telling you about my cat. She is a beautiful albino, sky blue eyes, deaf cat. We got her in her teens. She was a stray a friend found. This has been 2years ago. since then i have had her fixed and all shots and luekemia tested. never has this cat been ill with exception to a small cold. ok here is my issue. my baby 2 weeks ago got a spot on her inner thigh that had two lines running through it. 3 days later the spot was the size of a nickol, bald and now had crusted little spots on it and no more lines. ok got worried called the vet. so i took her in and they gave her a steroid shot and told me to put trisaderm on it 2 times a day. ok then they treat her for earmites. ok this cat has not been outside for 2 years i cannot get rid of the earmites and so they tell me she has an ear infection. ok again trisaderm in the ears also. come back in 2 weeks. that same evening i noticed her pupil would not dialate. ok called the vet again that morning. took her in. they said that they think she had a reaction to the ear cleaner when treating her. sent her home. ok now 2 days later she is vomiting. she has vomited 6 tims in 8 hours. she has never thrown up before. called the vet again and they are putting her on antibotics this evening. ok perfectly healthy cat goes from healthy to one problem after another.... what do you think????? her eye is looking better also.

Thanks, Sharon. I guess I was posting about the same question the same time Marla was. This gives me some ideas as least!
