Topic: RE: Brag about your cats!!!
Oh my goodness! Someone finally with more cats than me! I have nine. I would love to hear all about your cats! I am sorry about your kitty you lost. I lost one too. But I love the ones I have now soooo much. Want to hear their names??? Well, I am going to tell you anyway!! Ok, theres Cinderella (already named when I got her from the Humane Society), I call her Cindy. Then there's Mischief (Missy), Toby, Jasmine, Molly, Seymour, Gypsy, Bailey and Snickers. I have all different kinds. Long-haired, short-haired, skinny cats chubby cats, white, gray, black and one calico. The only kind I don't have and have never had is an orange cat. I want an orange cat named Pumpkin. But I told myself NO MORE!! I have rescued many cats from abusive homes, and a couple of mine were abused. They drive me crazy sometimes, but I love them so much. You have to understand! I would love to hear about yours!

Topic: Brag about your cats!!!
In reading about Aly,
the cool cat who uses a bedpan,I was thinking about a cat that I had when I was in my 20s,Harry ,he would turn on the stereo when I was not home,I would be all freaked out
,In the stairs outside my apartment, hearing the music.I finaly saw him turn it on .He later learned how to turn doorknobs to open doors .I lost him in 1997 to nasty neighbors who antifreezed him.He was a real sweety, I miss him alot .I thought I would brag about him today.
Do you have a fury friend that you want to brag about ?
I have 13 cats now so I would fill the whole board to brag on them all Dar

Topic: RE: I am worried
hi ,
i am new to this site and just happened to pop in and check out this message board but i thought that i would respond it this post because, i have several(5 cats) 3 of which are kittens that are not so small now,lol that we grew attached to lol. But I wanted to let you know that no matter how long you are gone for surgery i am sure your cats will be extremely caring when you come home. My 2 oldest cats are both "pet me when i want you to" cats. I have 2 children ages 7 and 3 and whenever either of them get a "hurt" whether it is a knee or feelings and cry. Both of our cats are the first ones there rubbing against them and making sure that the world is not going to end,
lol.
Just wanted to share that good luck and congrats on your surgery, happy losing lol.
God bless and Take Care,
Molly B

Topic: RE: Does anyone have Tonkinese cats?
Don't have a Tonk but a Siamese which are personality wise very similar. He's a talker! And he fetches, just like a lap dog in lot of ways. His name is Newman...yeah like Paul Newman... or Newman on Seinfeld. (killer blue eyes and kind of pain!!!)

Topic: RE: hello cat lovers
I dont know of any breeders...sorry...
I am a cat lover too. I wish I lived somewhere in the country then I would have a lot of cats too. Right now just 2 Apollo (3) and Gizmo (8).
Topic: RE: I am worried
My 3 babies all have different purrsonalities and all reacted differently. Belle, the eldest, likes to ignore me for the first hour when I come home from being away. Finnegan likes to plaster himself all over me, and Siobhan just disappears for 12 hours and eventually saunters over to be petted.
But when I came back from my RNY, I had complications that kept me in the hospital for almost 4 weeks. The cats kept me very close company. I always had at least 2 cats on the bed with me. All 3 showed they were concerned. It was amazing the difference. I guess they could smell "hospital" on me, and knew from their own experience that "hospital" is no great place to be, so were offering their support in the only way they could.
So, don't worry about your babies. Do get someone in though to talk to them and love them up while you're away, of course, but don't worry. They know when their Mommy isn't feeling well.
Cathy.

Topic: RE: Ms. Lilli's in Cat Heaven
I am so sorry to hear of Ms. Lilli's passing. I've heard a saying that all cat lovers can appreciate...
Cats are born in grace, live in grace, & die in grace.
What other animal lives a more graceful & proud life than a cat?
I know Ms. Lilli is in a better place now. It must have been difficult to make that decision, but it really was out of love for her.
You're in my prayers.
Topic: RE: Cat uses bed pan
Yes. He doesn't like to share the litter box. So, as long as he enjoys his "idea" of using it, I'm happy (it's either the bed pan, or the floor - which he was doing. He is about 16 lbs. ....BIG cat....and smart. Thanks.
