Do you have a veterinary school in your area? Maybe you could call there and see if they can help. I think sometimes they charge reduced rates because it's a "teaching" hospital. It's worth a call. We have some vets in our area that ONLY treat cats. Maybe that would be another possibility. Good luck!! I'm thinking about you and wishing kitty a quick recovery.

Topic: looking for a kitten/cat to add to our family
Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone (hopefully) in the Ky area has a kitten/cat that needs a home? I am going to the shelter tomorrow...Hope to find something there. I have one cat already, he is 2-3 yrs old, we adopted him last summer. He had already been fixed and declawed. He's a sweet natured kitty and I hope that if we get a baby, he will get along with it.. Angela We aren't picky over color or breed just a cat/baby that needs a loving home..

Yes he seems agitated, he keeps on walking, well following me or my Mom, every where. I sure will take him to the vet and I hope he is not sick or in pain, poor thing. Thanks for the tip.

Does he seem to be agitated. If this is a new behavior you might want to take him to the vet for an exam. He could be in pain or not feeling well.

You can get some sort of pheromone thing, I think it is called Feliway. We got it at the vet, but I think you can also get it at pet stores. It plugs into an outlet and looks just like a room deodorizer. It is supposed to have a calming effect on them. We used it when introducing a fully grown male inside/outside "hunter" into our household of three inside only females. It was touch and go for awhile, but the pheromone thing seemed to help somewhat.
