Topic: What My Cat Does When He is Bored...
Hi... I know my cat has had a boring day when I come home to find all the lower cabinets in the house open. He prides himself on his ability to use his paw like a hand and open the cabinet. He'll peek in to see what's in the cabinet. Sometimes I think he's looking for his treats, but they're in an upper cabinet. He won't jump up on a counter so he can't find them. What's something "different" your cat does? Just curious to hear some cat tales. Roxane

Topic: RE: i talk with my cat
Hi, I have a farm so I'am always talking to my animals. My old horse yells at me when I don't feed her fast enough. I have 4 cats. They are outside cats because I'am allergic to them. They live in my garage, they are supossed to be barn cats (ya right). I talk they listen (sometimes) and they like to do chores with me. Sometimes they help me take care of the chickens. I have ducks and guineas that run my yard and the cats don't bother them, although the birds sometimes get the cats. My kids think I'am goofy for talking to them. I say they understand me. So yes I would'nt have it any other way.

Hey fellow cat-people! I had my RnY 3/15 (53 hours ago!!) and am still pretty sore. I came home from the hospital today and discovered a BIG problem I hadn't even thought about. My two cats "take turns" sleeping on my stomach/chest. I am not going to be able to let them in our bedroom for a while - can you imagine my bouncy Abby landing her four paws strategically positioned on four of my "openings?!" OHHHHHHHH! L Y N N

Hi Mary-- Pet kittens are somewhat pricey....mine are $600. Show kittens and breeding kittens are more. I've found over the years that the "runts" can grow into the most beautiful adults.....occasionally I have a kitty that needs a home (retired breeder or a kitty with issues that prevents me from selling it)....if you email me privately, I'll give you more [email protected]. Best, Lori

Hey! Ragdolls!! I love them... are they really love loveable and floppy as i hear? i would love to have a cat that crumbles happily when I pick it up!! How much do you usually sell them for? What do you do with the 'runts' or whatever you might call them? I am a total 'know-nothing' when it comes to cat breeding, I just know that I have always wanted a ragdoll and a bengal. Are there ever any kittens that are unsellable for whatever reason? how much does a kittie cost? peace

Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself...I can't believe the number of cat lovers here! My name is Lori and I have...well a "few" ragdoll kitties along with a couple of selkirk rex kitties. We breed and show them and just had a new litter of 3 last weekend (all have parents waiting impatiently on them to grow up a little ) -- I have one more litter coming the end of April and then nothing planned for a while. My house would be a very empty place with out my three furkids. It would be cleaner and smell better, but it would be sad. Cheryl

Of course they will still love you, just be careful, my Smokey the Cat gained three pounds the first four months after my surgery finishing everything I hadn't. You know I always thought I didn't like siamese but my Maxwell was part siamese, he had the voice and the attitude. I am thinking my next furbaby may have to be a siamese Cheryl

Dulci, For christmas my father-in-law bought us an electric blanket because I am now cold all the time. My kitty Mr. Spock loves it. It turns itself off after so many hours, when it cools down he comes running to find someone to turn it back on for him. We are just waiting for him to figure out the controls. He stretches out across the blanket trying to make as much warm contact as possible and crashes for hours. Cheryl
