Topic: Bookworm -- anyone have hints?
Does anyone have any hints on how to get higher scores? I know the basic ones, like getting longer words, using letters with higher value. But I see that there are people with high scores that are HUGE! How are they doing that?
Also, is there a way that you can save a game at a certain point, keep playing the game you're on until it's over, and then be able to pick up the game you saved at the point it was at? That way you wouldn't always have to start at 0.

I have been playing on the Tunare server for about 5 years now. I play often, but not real seriously. After 5 years, my main is only lvl 58. People say I am too old for this, but I don't care. I'm only 40.

Stacy,
WoW is a LOAD of fun. I was totally hooked on EQ and spent waaaaay too much time sitting at the computer. WoW is visually wonderful, has a lot to do and isnt the 'time sink' that EQ was (though it was a very enjoyable time sink at the time!!).
I love the quest system in the game. You can do quests for experience, cash, and items instead of just grinding out kills. You can also get experience by just exploring new places (albeit not as much as questing or killing, lol).
You can solo from 1 to 60 which is also nice, but I would say about 3/4 of my time is usually played with the group of friends that I made in EQ. (We move from game to game together, so there's always a familiar face or 5, lol).
Give it a try!

I played for 3 years but retired a while back. Nameless Server - Liquidstayce (HIE cleric) Guild - The First Seal. My husband was a member in Legacy of Steel and played a rogue. His character was Cyni Barhoppah. He and I actually met playing. We retired around the same time and I created a message board for mostly ex-EQers or existing players that were interested in starting a more healthy lifestyle around July of 2002. It is called called EQ Powerful Bodies & Minds. Lots of good info there although it really isn't an active board.
Feel free to visit : http://p073.ezboard.com/beqpowerfulbodiesandminds
I will probably start to use it as a log and additional support form for WLS.
I've been considering playing WoW since it doesn't require so much time but not sure I want to take a chance on getting so addicted again!!
