Hi Judy... I have a fawn-colored Pug too...his name is Otis. (Of course), we got him right after the movie Milo & Otis came out. I also have a Pekingese too...her name is Muffin, both are 11 years-old, and the joy of my life. I know you miss your dog Mugsey, but I see that he lived to 17 years old. I am hoping to have mine just as long, what was your secret? As my dogs continue to age, I do get worried about there health, especially because of the respiratory problems that can develop because of their pushed in little noses. I know your post was old, but I just found this messageboard. I hope your surgery went well. I had mine about a month before you. I had my surgery on July 21st, 2003. At my 4 month check up last week, I was down 75 pounds. I was so excited...especially since I thought I was in a plateau. Hope all is well in your world...would love to share Pug stories some time!! We, too, have a black pug. Her name is Missy (otherwise known as "PUGZILLA" ). She'll be 4 this March, and has the BEST personality! We want to get another little pug soon!

I have a 12 week old pug puppy. He is named Frank. Yeah I know weird but we named him after Agent F in Men In Black. He is loveable and sweet, but also quite a handful. I would love to talk about Pugs sometime and if anyone has any good tips on housebreaking I would greatly appreciate it.
