HI Judy. Congratulations on your WLS! Your post this morning of how sore and tired you are from sleeping on your back, this is what I did. I slept in my recliner, for there, with it leaned back, you could get into a comfortable position to actually sleep! I could not do this in my bed! At about 13 days out, I found I could sleep in my bed and on my side, at that!! What a feeling to be able to do that again! So you just hang in there Judy a while longer, things do get better, with EVERYTHING!! Stay POSITIVE in thinking!! ((((((HUGS)))))

Hi Judy, I just read your message on the board. I had the same problem with sleeping on my back. I know a lot of people used reclining chairs to sleep in the first 2 or 3 weeks, but I didn't have one. So, I piled on the pillows. I had so many pillows behind me and beside me that I was almost sitting up in the bed. As for the lung problem, did you have one of those breathing exercisers after surgery? Could you get one to use at home? You inhale into it and try to get the ball to go up to a certain level. It basically exercises your lungs to strengthen them. Ask your doc about getting one for home. Hope this helps. Congrats on making it through the surgery. Now the fun really begins!

Can you believe it! Her surgery is finished and she's on the losing side! I spoke to her husband (a VERY sweet man), and she's already asking to get up and walk! I believe this lady is going to do AWESOME! Way to go Judy!!

Just want you to know you have one more person praying that your crossover to the other side be smooth and as painless as possible. May God Angels of mercy watch over you every step of the way. I will be traveling that road next week.
