Topic: Minuature Schnauser and Schnoodle
Our 2 babies are Jazz, and kozz, Jazz is the pedigreed minature schnauser, and kozz is a pound hound, her parents were a fullblooded standard poodle, and a giant schnauser, we rescued her from the pound, and she has the body and tempermant of a poodle very finicky, with the fur of a schnauser. and Jazz is extreemly vocal both are so playfull and lovable, and sleep with mommy and daddy. They are experianced travelers, they love Florida, and everyday we go for a ride and see the cows (bovining):0) Jazz gets so excited, and she sets on my lap and leans forward with her front legs on the dash. She knows when we get near the pastures where the cows are, and starts whinning and snorting, she is halarious, Kozz, jumps up on my lap and sets between me and the door, and paws at the electric window controlls so she can put down the window, sometimes we have to lock the windows so she cant put them down. Both are such silly clowns and such a pleasure to have.

Topic: RE: Pekingese
Jennifer, I have a pekingese named beefy. She is a black & tan. She rules our roost for sure. I saw the pic of your frankie w/his tongue sticking out. Beefy usually has hers sticking out just like that. We got her at the animal defense league and she has just been the most wonderful pet we could have hoped for. I had no idea how sweet pekes were. Hello, I have one doxie ~ she is a 2 year old standard short haired double dapple. She is deaf and can not see very well. She is our special needs hair little girl. I do not know what I would do without her. I was worried about her when I had surgery but my hubby loves her as much as I do. So I know he would take good care of her. Hugs, Janie

Topic: Meet my pack!
Hi, I do animal rescue from my home. In the process of 40+ adoptions, I have acquired 6 permanant canine residents, 2 feline residents, 2 avian residents and one rodent! Canines: Barney (100#) Newfoundland/German Police, age 10 (the very patient patriarch of the household) Atlas (120#) Great Dane/Rottwieler, age 4, "Delta Dog" (visits schools and nursing homes in our community) Merlin (140#) Merle Great Dane, age 3, (Happy Tail and Wobbler's Syn.) (Full of joy and playfullness!) Max (79#) Black & Tan Doberman, age 2 (abandoned on state route in middle of night at age 3 months) (Favorite of my son) La Who (85#) Red Doberman, 10 months (struck on head with bricks in his own fenced in back yard while owner was at work. Was placed with us for his own protection as owner works odd hours.) Shotzie (6#) Miniature Pincher, 4 months (Was thrown from the window of a moving vehicle of State Route 46 last month.) My cats are Ricky (Grey & White) and Bonito (Orange Tabby). Both animals were abandoned, starving and sick. Now they are both happy and healthy and excellent mousers! I had two others but they disappeared in July. I hope that someone was interested in beautiful, long-haired, female companions. Gweneviere (Meyers Parrot) and Gabriel (Parakeet) are my birds. Gwen has everyone in the house towing the line. She will lay into anyone that bothers her. They have all learned to leave the birds alone! My last member is "Cyranose", my guinea pig (thus named by my daughter because of the size of his nose!). He is about 5 months old now. He has a smooth, reddish brown coat. He keeps the rest of the crew entertained for hours with his antics. With all this commotion you would think we were childless but my husband and I live in a small ranch home with 2 of our 5 children and my mother. The other children are grown and are away at college. Luckily we have a large, fenced yard. My neighbors were very greatful when we installed the fence! Kathy, "weighting" on the insurance company.

Topic: RE: Boxer Lover for Life
Hi Bonnie I, too, am a Boxer lover - see my profile for photos of my babies. I have two - a 7-yr old male fawn (Rudy) and my baby girl, 4-yr old brindle, Haley. Added to this mix is an 8 yr old red Doberman (Nick). I have owned Boxers for 20 years and will always have at least one! Note to anyone - like all rescues - Boxers do have their own rescue organizations. One here in Texas that I've worked with for 3 years is Lone Star Boxer Rescue - www.lonestarboxerrescue.com. Always pass on a good word for your local Boxer Rescue - they need your time, help - anything you can provide. Sunie

I have 7.....all short haired, 6 red 1 black and tan. 5 are females 2 males. all neutered except one male. Yes I do wonder about them and how I can deal with it if I lose them. The oldest two are 11 and the other 5 are nine so soon I will have a little "nursing home for weiner dogs." I really love them and feel no one would ever take as good care of them as I do. They all have their own personalities and are such good companions. I do understand how you feel. Enjoy your pups they are such clowns. don't you think. Joanne

Hi Bonnie, Just ran across your post and had to reply. I have 2 boxers, Chelsea and Chance and they are my babies! Never believed I could love a dog as much as I do these two! I know exactly what you mean about their reaction to your return just from the mail box......their twisting bodies, talking and wiggling that wee stump of a tail, is the sweetest thing. I have never known dogs so full of love for their owner and these two for each other. They lay with their heads on one another like a pillow and even lay with their arms around one another. Plus....they both like to climb in the bed, crawl under the blankets with me and sleep away.....awwwwww.....now that is truly boxer love!

Topic: RE: I have two collies....
I have 2 collies also. One male and female. The male is sable and his name is Rusty. Females name is Prancer and she is black and white. She was born around Christmas time and when she walks she prances like a Tennessee walking horse, hence her name.
