Oh, yeah.  I've tried on old things in my closet before getting rid of them, marvelling that they fit at much higher weights than they did pre-op.

Vanity sizing, I think, has also played a part at me fitting into sizes 2/4/6 at 152 pounds (and I'm waaaaay shorter than Hayley - 5'4").  I've got big bones, too.  Made of plutonium

I think the sizes have changed since I was a kid back in the dark ages!  But I am now wearing a 4-6 and when I weighed this much when I was younger I wore a 13.

anyone who has ever been sized for a dress knows that dressmaker's size differently than chain stores.  Here is a chart so you can see exactly what size you are.  It sucks but that the fact.  I personally always take the lowest weight on the scale and the smallest size I can cram my a$$ into.

Oh my goodness Felicia----I was JUST talking to my husband about this today!!
Today I weigh LESS than I have in over 15 years!!
10 YEARS ago I had lost down to #235 for our 25th anniversary wedding vows renewal...I bought a beautiful size 22 dress...Stuck it back in the closet and never got rid of it. January 2007 I was at my all time high of #305 over last year I lost down to #258--- I was ABLE to wear the size 22 dress at a Christmas party last December even though I was #23 pounds heavier than when I bought it!!
I pulled it out today and at #231 today it is way too big!..Only 4 pounds LESS than when I FIRST wore it....I don't understand what happened!! I was wondering DO I wear my cloths too tight??!? I asked my husband he said no your weight just seems to have redistributed. WEIRD!! Take care hugs p

I don't ever remember being this small. I wore a size 12 in 5th grade for about 5 minutes. At my "normal" weight weight years ago, I was 10 pounds heavier than I am now and wore a size 14. Now, it is a 6-8-10 depending on the cut. (8s are the most comfy.)

It's all in the height, I think!

With the DS: there is no stoma, so no stoma strictures; there are no limitations (other than volume) against drinking before, during or after meals; 80% of ingested fat is malabsorbed; 98.9% of type II diabetics are CURED of this devastating disease, with data showing stable cure over 10 years out; there is the best average weight loss and most durable (average 76% excess weight loss going out 10 years) of all of the bariatric surgeries.  That's why I had a DS!
