I'm 5'3". Around what size will I be at 180 pounds?
May I suggest that you get a lace-up gown? Then it will be whatever size & shape you are on your wedding day. I've got one (for sale in my Ebay store) that says it's a size 12, and have had both a size 4 & 16 model it. If you get one that's size 16, and you're an 18 or 14 on the big day, it won't be a big deal. You're not going to be able to do fittings anyway since fittings are generally 4-6 months before the wedding and you won't be the same size in 4-6 months that you are today.

Georgina, you're size predictions have been really interesting to me, and you know why. I've got to take this opportunity to throw in my 2 cents. I absolutely love simple weddings, too. But you can have one and still have *the dress.* You can wear a little black dress to any dinner party any time. But there's only one special day for wearing a white gown. If you thinking of wearing black to look thinner, forget it. You will have lost so much weight by November you'll look skinny in any color!!!
Jenny

I'm going with black because I've loved the idea ever since I read the Little House books as a girl, not to try to look thinner, don't worry!
It's sentimental. And I don't *really* care for white that much anyway. The traditional wedding things are a little too much for me, to be honest. I'm a simple girl.
Here's the story behind it in case you're interested:
