I agree with you, Maddie.  Kaiser (and all other insurance companies) that continally harass the bariatric patients who clearly meet the NIH criteria for bariatic surgery should be heavily fined and made to stop.  I don't understand how the insurance companies get away with it over and over again.  We bariatric patients already have enough to deal with without having to wait for two (or more!) years for the chance to get to a healthier place.  

I have to say that Kaiser has taken very good care of me in every other way, so I'm fortunate in that sense.
