Thank you for clarifying.  I am a migraine sufferer, and would miss my ibuprofen....  It's the only thing that ever works for me!

I just can't believe how strong you are. 99.9% of us would be a hot mess and you just take everything in stride. I hope that this is what your body needs to heal because you have had more than your fair share of complications and it is time for you to be able to move on and enjoy life to the fullest.

Please let me know if there is anything you need...even if its just someone to bring you magazines or a SB green tea with extra ice and no classic :)

Courtney

BTW you need to hurry up and get better so we can make that trip to Famous Dave's since I have never been there before!

How did you know I dreamed about Famous Dave's last night?!  OH MY WORD - the cornbread slathered in butter!  I can't even go there mentally quite yet - still a little hungry!

But - seriously - when I get the clear to eat again - you and me - at Dave's, got it?

You're such a sweetheart, Courtney!  I'll shout if I need a hand, okay?  And you'll have to have my tea for me - no fluids by mouth, either!  What will Starbucks do?  Will they make it through this season of NPO financially?

LOL!

Hugs,

dina

We are definitely on for a date with Dave! Im hoping that by the time you get clearance to eat again my baby tummy will be ready for somethin like that. It is finicky and its a slooooow healing process but we are working on it!

Oh, and don't worry about poor Starbucks. Ever since you posted to someone about the tea I have been there EVERY SINGLE DAY! It just goes down so easily and helps me get my liquids in. Trust me, ill keep them in business till you are back on your feet lol.

Dina, I have never heard of Famous Dave's.  Plus, it is not listed in the Portland phone book.  The way you two were carrying on about it, it must be some kind of haven for card-carrying carnivores like me and you two.  Maybe like Texas Road House (sp?)?  If so, then I am in too!  Not a fan of the corn bread tho.

I am sure that Starbucks will survive your season of NPO with only a small dent in its financial statements.

Darn it Dina!   I was hoping for better news than this!   My sister has been NPO since the first of June, and it just sucks eggs.    As always, your faith and amazing attitude just impresses the heck out of me.   I feel guilty sitting here whining about the miserable cold I have right now!   I will at least hope you can make it home soon.  Bet your DH and kids just miss the heck out of you!
