Thanks Brok, I would miss your great recipes and inspiring posts.  No, unfortunately there has been much said to me since I "arrived" (both on the board and in pms).  I assumed maybe it was the general concensus and I was disliked by many.

I have had enough drama in my life and am not looking here to cause it or be involved in it.  I am however not going to sit on my hands any longer when I see people wronged on this site, I have always stood up for those being bullied (that is just who I am).

I am beginning to wonder if the DS turns some people into meanies.....

Nice. FYI, still a pre-op here.

Oh, we should all strive to be more like you. I on the other hand, I don't like whiners & I feel the need to say things to attention ***** who are just that (that's just who I am).

Waiting for that block still...

03/03/09 - Vented/whined about it on another board, planned to just wait until next year & switch plans

IMNSHO it's time for every vet to engage in a mass block of people like this with no discernible brains.

Oh, I wish. Then at least there's a chance that those of us that will actually appreciate (& use) all of the help the vets give, can be the ones to benefit from it. Not just these lazy ass leeches who think the world revolves around them.

To be honest, I don't think the type of surgery (the DS) changes people to become meanies.  A bully is a bully no matter what the cir****tances are.  The best example I can give you is another forum I belonged to for a few years when my first husband died.  Now if ever there was a place you'd think it would be that people would support it each, it would be amongst grieving spouses and partners but ... There were bullies and aggressive people there that said the worst possible things you could ever imagine.

I also commend you for standing up for those who are being bullied.  You're going to catch a lot of heat and get flamed a lot for it though, called names like attention ***** and all that stuff.

I don't block anyone.  The bullies usually block me because they think I'm stupid  That's OK.  This way, though, I can still get enough good information from veterans and other resources.

Not all the vets are mean or bullies.  Not many are.  It's just that the few who are sort of give that impression that a lot are, know what I mean?
