Medi-aire Biological Odor Remover
Maddie, have you used it before? I am skeptical about any "odorless" spray that claims to eliminate odors from the air. Or, is this stuff for removing odors from objects? I believe there are odorless sprays that can remove odors from objects, but I just don't see how they could remove them from the air. I just want to know if you think it really works for airbound odors. :-)
Paul, I used this when my husband was in the hospital with a stomach bleed. He had the most nauseatingly smell hell farts I have ever encountered. It would make me gag. The nurse brought the medi aire to me and I would spray a little in the air and it would clear the smell. I swear, I don't know how he could stand it. Thank god the other patient in the first bed was nearly comatose because I'm sure if he had not been he would have complained or died from the smell. It was really the most obnoxious thing I've ever smelled.
I see somebody else mentioned Allegromedical.com They're having a free shipping for today, and the bottles are about the lowest I've seen online.
I've never tried the unscented, but the "fresh air" is quite subtle. And you don't need to use much of it, so it doesn't really leave an identifiable odor.
I was a neuro nurse, and we needed good odor removing sprays. There was a citrus essential oil spray that seemed to work well on most everything we needed in hospital, including odors from changing bags and dressings for people with ostomies. So I thought it would work for me.
I got some of the citrus spray for here - it worked so well in hospital that I ordered a LOT of it when I found the correct brand. But it doesn't work well for me at all. I love the orange scent, but if I spray it when I need it (you know...), it didn't seem to me to help much, and there were requests that I not use it for that anymore. The family preferred the poop smell without the orange addition. And the cotton candy body spray that works so well for some people pretty much put even me out of the house when I tried it!
I should buy stock in this Mediaire company - I recommend it a lot to people. That at the toilet bidet company.
