Lori, I am so out of the loop this summer as I have almost no time to spend on here. Why the revision? Are you having problems? I really wish you all the best and hope all goes well for you this time.

Hi Wanda, Yes I have had a body odor and abdominal pain since surgery.  Nobody has had a clue as to what is going on.  I found Dr. Keshishian thanks to Joyce from Arizona.  The first time I spoke with him he knew what the problem was.  I feel very confident in his hands. I knew I needed a top notch surgery as I am a mess in there.  Thanks for the well wishes. I will keep everyone updated.

Lori - have you kept Dr. Foote in the loop about all this?  I sure hope so, so he gets an idea of what he's doing/not doing!    Good luck.   I'm so glad you are doing this.

Keshishian's Delano office hooked us up with a medical supply place that rented--and delivered--recliners.  Call and see if his Gleandale office has found the same thing.

Otherwise, google "glendale, ca" +"thrift shop" and see if one of them has a recliner you can buy for cheap.  I'd also check "Out of the Closet," a thirft store that takes almost everything...we've dontated good working appliances like a washer-dryer combo we couldn't use in our new building so I know they have furniture, not just clothes and toys. www.outofthecloset.org/locations.html

I didn't use or need a recliner though one was available.  A fridge and microwave are essential.

Did you see Stormy's post about  traveling for your DS? Renting a corp apartment?  Cheaper and more convenient than hotels, and she said you could request a recliner.  Google corporate, or short term furnished rentals in the area.  California has a lot of them.

No, I didn't see that post.  That is a really good idea.  Do you know when that was posted so I can try to find it?
