Kirmy,

I heard about a crazed murderer who was adopted (as an adult!!) by his wildly wealthy attorneys--first they adopted his pit bulls, then him.  Wonder if I could arrange that without actually harming anyone?

Surgeons are a breed all their own.  One of my twins had 2 open heart surgeries as an infant.  The surgeon was world renowned.  He was convinced my son, Gabriel, had to be a girl (Gabrielle).  He didn't figure it out until he undid Gabe's diaper.  ANyway not long after Gabe's second surgery a biography of this surgeon.  It was called "Walking on Water".  I kid you not.

Some Family Practice docs can be egotistical nightmares too.  However, my favorite family doc not only is very well-versed in the DH but has a very cute ass, not a pompous one!!

Quetzalpoopies?!? Dying laughing here!

Kirm, sometimes they take that M. Deity designation just a wee bit too seriously.

If you want warm boy do I have a place for you!!! Come on over!!! You will never be cold again. I take that back. I've been here so long that when winter comes I am freezing but it sometimes gets down to 0 Celsius for a day or two.

I bet 1/2 the newbie doctors trail along behind you, tripping over themselves to impress you.

Baby doctors, ahh, I remember the days.

Aha!   It looks like it posted.   YAY!!

ETA:   I'm on disability, so I haven't worked since 2003.   I really miss it - or at least big hunks of it.   I guess staying home and contemplating your navel or something would be fun if you didn't HAVE to do it.

I didn't have any attendings that I didn't get along with, and I'd generally cull the newbies early on and explain the "protocol."   Oh well, I tell a lie.   I did have one hospitalist who wanted me to intubate and sink a DobHoff and feed and breathe for a 97 y/o person who had literally coughed out an internal organ.   We had a going around about that.
