My friend and neighbor died today

A good friend and neighbor died today, he was only 59 or 60; I'm not sure when his birthday was he was two year ahead of me in school when we were growing up. I've know Elwood pretty much my whole life.

Elwood was up in the high mountains doing what he loves most; hunting Elk. He started feeling bad and decided to have someone drive him to town to see a doctor and he had a massive heart attack on the way and died in the truck on the way to town.

Elwood was not even a little overweight, he was solid and strong as an ox always active, always had a huge garden that looked like something you would see in Homes and Garden.

On the one hand, he's lucky that he was able to be doing what he loved most for his last days here; but on the other, his wife Pam and family are devastated. I'm in shock, I can't believe he's gone.

Kerry, I'm sorry for his wife and family, but mostly, I'm so sorry to hear you lost a friend today.

I am so sorry, too, Kerry. It has to be gut wrenching to lose a close friend and to see his family in pain over their loss as well. Blessings to you all.
