You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Your mom sounds like a terrific person and so are you.
I am very sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I am a huge proponent of ritual and creating memories. I planted a beautiful pear tree (espelier) in my front yard when my grandparents died. It helps me think about them all the time.
I know she'll always be near. It sounds like you guys had a great relationship.

Oh Jill, my heart goes out to you on your mother's passing. Unfortunately, we all must endure this and that is what makes life so hard, losing someone we love. My mom was just admitted to the hospital yesterday for a febrile illness and she had heart palpitations. I am concerned, but they are sending her home today (she lives in Michigan so can't go see her easily). A feeling of woe came over me when i heard she had some heart issues. I hope you find the peace you deserve after grieving over your mom. You are in my
