Fun with extra skin
Yeah, my skin floated too. That was weird!
I will tell you, I have a cast-iron stomach. Most things do not gross me out (For example, I intently watched my plastic surgeon remove part of my belly button and tighten it up a few weeks ago.) HOWEVER, I never could play with my extra skin. I could never pick it up and move it around or anything. It grossed me out. Thank God I got it removed. Now I (and my hubby) play with my body ALL of the time!

I had the kick-butt duodenal switch (DS)!
HW: 344 lbs CW: 150 lbs
Type 2 diabetes and sleep apnea GONE!
I guess since I am single, I worried about becoming intimate and how gross (not to mention misleading) it may be to my future partner. However,I really, really do not want to ever have surgery again so I (at this point) am against having plastic surgery. Although I said I would never have WLS so....... I am very busty and was previously thinking about a reduction due to the back pain. However, I am waiting to see if they go down as I lose weight.
I feel you here - I am recently single again, and the thought of anyone seeing this hot mess at the moment just freaks me out. Then again, I dunno... I was loved at 360 lbs, so why not now at 195?
The boobies will likely shrink, I must say. I was a 48 DDD, now I'm comfortably a 40 C. And they are saggy little things, but honestly, it's a lot better than I thought it would be. I'm also pushing 40 and have had 3 babies. So you know what? It is what it is. I'll take being able to climb mountains now over not being able to tie my shoes before!

Skin elasticity is also genetic. Some people have more elasticity than others beyond factors like age, etc. Once you have stretch marks, though, it will not go back no matter what. Exercise can help build muscle, etc., but if you have a lot to lose saggy skin is in the cards, and I am looking forward to it as a choice vs. an extra 150 pounds.
