Congrats! She's beautiful!! I adopted two of my dogs (and the other one wandered onto my ex-husbands property..he could'nt keep her so we took her in) and one of my two rabbits is a rescue, and one of my ferrets. I support adopting animals. You couldn't ask for better pets!
When push comes to shove....shove hard!

Never regret anything, because at one time it was exactly what you wanted.

They always seem to find kind animal humans when they find us.  I have a cat that wandered onto my property.  I always say she found me and picked me out of my entire neighborhood.  no one claimed her and she wasn't listed as lost at the pound or animal shelter.  She is the best lap cat ever.

Here's one study that addresses free feeding and high calorie high protein diets in giant breeds.

I know it is counter intuitive.

My friends may be at an agility trial so I may not hear from them until Monday.

I just googled giant breed dog nutrition.

Also these foods are NOT recommended: Purina, Science Diet, Iams, Eukanuba.  These are not considered quality kibble.  The Whole Dog Journal evaluates dog foods yearly.  I'll try to find the link to the latest study.

She certainly is.  Right now, she likes to sit on laps when I'm sitting on the floor, but soon, she won't fit....she'll just be able to drape her body over the lap.  :)
