I would forget about Ungson Jamie, he doesn't do RNY to DS revisions, from all I can gather, he will only do ERNY and leave your pouch as is.

I went around and around with him about this and he wouldn't do a revision to DS; on me anyway. Maybe he has changed, but I really doubt it; rebuilding your stomach is the most difficult part of the revision and very few surgeons have the skill needed to do this.

Dr. Ungson is a fine DS surgeon by all accounts, but from all I know, he is not a RNY to DS revision surgeon.

Maybe Balatzar in Spain for the RNY to DS??

Dr Gagner in Montreal would do it for 20-25 thousand.

start 315lbs lapband feb2006-196 lbs night Reflux bc esophageal dilation,216 lbs band replaced may 2008. Gained up to 286lbs still reflux and regurg Ds March 2011 cw 165 lb

That's right, I forgot you're in AK; Gagner would be an excellent choice for you if you have to do self pay. He was in France when I was looking for a surgeon, but he's right up there with the best of the best.

I would go to Canada before Spain, more economical for your locations and Gagner has a great reputation .
