What I do on a crazy day to get my protein and calcium
Some of you live like this every day. Busy. Running. No time to breathe. For me it is a rare day, but that means that I have to make sure to plan ahead because I'm not used to such a busy day.
I usually eat my protein. And a lot of it. But today that wasn't going to work. It isn't rocket science.
I had a shake for breakfast: 46 g
I had string cheese for a snack.
I had Chicken Tenders from Chick Fil-A for lunch. 23 g
Then I backed into a Volvo...oh that is another post, sorry.
I finished the chicken Tenders for a snack. 23 g
I ran by the house to pick up the dog and had another shake: 46.
I'll have protein very late tonight for a late dinner but I've already had 130+ grams.
Edited: I take four calcium/magnesium oxide batches during the day. I threw them in a baggie with a little kitchen timer that I set for 90 minutes. I didn't miss a dose.
It isn't rocket science.

I used to separate my vits into little sandwich baggies and I'd take the baggies with me if I had a busy day. Now, I've found a plastic pill holder that has four compartments so I can separate my daily supplements into four increments. It's divided into seven sections—labeled Monday through Sunday, of course—and each section pops out of its holder, allowing me to carry just what I need for the day.
I hope this description makes sense.
I bought this pill holder at Rite Aid for about ten dollars and I absolutely love it.
I hope this helps,
Lynda
Becky: You took a kitchen timer with you? My kitchen timer ticks. I'm thinking that if I carried a ticking kitchen timer around with me, people would think I'm carrying a bomb!
