My 26 y/o daughter has struggled with acne since she was 13.  She can't afford to see a dermatologist (starving student sydrome) but I was wondering what OTC vitamins might help?

Thanks in advance!!

She's used it for years.  It does help, but not enough.  Thanks!!

My granddaughter used proactive for awhile and it really seemed to help.

She says it does help, but not enough.  I think she needs a dermatologist but I bet she is vitamin deficient too.

Murad also has a system comparable to pro-activ. You can get a 30 or 60 day trial size version of all products at Sephora..and if they don't work, you can return it to sephora even after being used..and its not too expensive since it is only a 30 or 60 day trial. I've used it and liked it.

Thanks.  It sure can't hurt for her to try that.

I took Yaz for years to control my acne, however once a month I'd still break out. I stopped taking the pill about four months ago and I now take  NSI Hyaluronic Acid with BioCell Collagen II® & NSI Gugulipid Extract that I purchase from Vitacost.com. My skin looks great now. I'm using Artistry intensive skincare renewing peel & Creme Luxury to help reduce the acne scarring. Also, I keep a bottle of plain non-coated aspirin purchased from the dollar store in the shower. While showering I take three aspirin and let them dissolve in my wet hand then I squeeze a little bit of non-salicylic acid facial cleanser (I use Artistry essentials balancing cleanser) into my hand and form a scrub. I scrub my face with that every day. Aspirin is salicylic acid and it's cheaper than buying an expensive cleanser that contains it. Just tell her not to get it in her eye. That's bad. Very bad.
