Alcohol - kinda piggy back from the other alcohol topic
I think if she wanted to be told whether or not to drink she woulda asked so in her question. She looking for experiences and what has worked best for other. Im not a DSer yet but i would def experiment before and find something that sits well. Then obviously make sure you eat and drink plenty of water BEFORE you imbibe. (YES ive seen w some that sometimes even eating and hydrating doesnt help) If you try some now and find you have trouble then you have your answer:)
Congrats and I hope you have a wonderful day!

I wouldn't risk having it on my wedding day unless I'd tried it out ahead of time, but that's just me. I have control issues.
Congratulations on your big day!!
I haven't had much wine since then, because of my strange blood sugar issues. Belief it or not, the safest thing for me to drink now is high qualitly tequila. I will have a shot, then follow it up with a glass of club soda and lime. It seems to be the "cleanest" form of alcohol for me, and usually does not cause the strange symptoms. I would make sure though, Nicole that you have PLENTY of food in your stomach if you plan to drink. I'd hate to see you passing out on your wedding night!

Its not that I want to get trashed at my own wedding, but I do want to be able to kick back and just relax, dance and have a few drinks with my family and friends. Just seems kind of a natural thing to do after dinner and all the hosting type activities are done.
I definetly will have a full belly that night! I am paying $60 a plate for that prime rib and it will get devoured!!!! LOL!
Sooo excited for the day to finally get here. I hope that your daughters big day is so enjoyable for you:)
You know what I did have good luck with? Kahlua and coffee with real whipped cream on top! Perhaps the high fat content prevented me from having issues. You might want to also test drive something like a kahlua and cream.
