Anyone unable to drink over 64 oz of water at 3 or 4 months out???
I've read many times that by 3 months out (sometimes earlier) a lot of people are getting in 75 to 100 oz of water a day. Or more. I struggle to get my 64 oz in still. To the long termers out there, any of you have problems with weight loss due to not drinking enough water? Or does it vary what each individual is able to drink? It's very rare that I get over 64 oz in, but I do always at least get that amount in. Am I drinking enough?
I don't drink plan water at all really unless I go out. I get in over 64 oz of fluids in the form of 1/2 & 1/2, brewed coffee, lots of diet cranberry juice and maybe 1 can of diet soda. The first 9 months post-op I had to dilute my diet cranberry juice with ice water. Another trick is to put fresh lemon or lime juice in your water and add Splenda to taste.

Hi
I am 3 months out and I do about 100oz a day mostly coffee, protein shakes, surgar free iced tea, and water when I am really thirsty. It is always a struggle but if I keep my glass refilled with lots of ice, I will drink it all day.

I think you have to keep trying until you find what you love to drink. For me it is icey cold water with grape Walmart brand flavor. The water has to be icey. I have to have my grape flavor in it. It can only be grape. I know...silly...but I get over a gallon a day this way.
Try a lot of different things, flavors, temps...

I rarely drink water, pretty much only if I am out at a restaurant or have been outside running around and know I need it. I get my fluids in with protein shakes, coffee, iced herbal tea, diet soda, and diet juices - and I average between 80-100oz a day that way. Plain water has to be ICE cold with lemon and no sweetener in it for me to be able to drink it, and it is just too hard to keep it cold enough for me. If I drink too much, it also sits like a rock and makes me nauseated. The Crystal Light or other artificial sweetener drink mixes sit like a rock, are too sweet (even VERY watered down), leave a funky taste and film in my mouth and cause me an upset stomach.
