Anyone with medicare and no comorbidities?

I have decided that I want to have the DS. My insurance, however, requires that I have 2 comorbidities. I have medicare  as a primary insurance and medicaid as a secondary insurance. I just had my sleep study done last night and as sad as it sounds, I hope that I have sleep apnea. I am pre-diabetic/ borderline diabetic (my fasting glucose last week was 114). I was wondering if anyone else out there has had an issue with medicare and being too healthy for WLS. If so, any suggestions? I live in upstate NY (if that even matters).
