Your situation sounds like mine -- Health Net HMO referred me out of network for a one-time consultation with Dr. Keshishian (but indicated that if he recommended surgery, they'd approve an out-of-network surgery with him ...). I'm holding good thoughts for us BOTH! Alison

talked to my union rep, this may be the first step in aetna allowing him to do the surgery, not only in net, but full retail.
