OT: NUEROMA, WHAT IS IT?.

doctors is sending me for a mri for a nueroma. what is it.

I had a nueroma removed from my foot several years ago, although I do believe a nueroma can occur in places other than your feet. It is a tumor on a nerve usually benign. Mine was quite painful. The surgery was fairly simple although it did require general anesthesia. I do have permanent numbness in the toe adjacent to the spot where they did the surgery. Is your neuroma in your brain? Is that why they are doing the MRI?

Ah, that would explain my mean scarcastic way about me, that soo many have come to hate, nah just in my foot. on the positive side it gives me a excuse not to excercise durring my 3months of surgical preopt regimentations.
