Hello! My name is Melissa. I am 32, I will be 33 in one week. I weight 480lbs. I just got my approval for surgery, but I am waiting for the doctor to finish signing off on everything before I take my last steps into the surgery. I am excited. I hope to weight about 180ish. I have never seen what someone of my size would look like at 180 after being 480. I have 300 pounds to loose and when I think about it, it seems like it just can't be done. So, I am hoping someone on here will prove me wrong and show me it can be done and maybe even help me by telling me their story, sharing their photo's, what to do's, and what NOT to do.

I am a single 42 year old woman scheduled to have RNY Gastric Bypass on 11/6  (next Tuesday!)  I would love to have people to communicate with as I take this new journey.
