Hey Maureen nice to meet you. I had my surgery on May 31 came home on June 2nd. Thank goodness no complicAtions just uncomfortable from gas pain n confusions from information received from discharge staff n surgeons office. I go back to hospital on wednesday to have drain remove. How did u deal with getting ur liquids?

sorry stroke out when my blood sugar would get so low and fast , also I had recived iron IV's . I just want to feel better and maybe get back in my jeans .

Hi it has been 10 years this October my rny wls and I need to lose 30 bls to get back to feeling good again . I haven't been true to my gift since I had a hysterectomy 6 years ago for the reason that my blood sugar would drop low and I was told by my family doctor that I would stoke out if I waited for a protein shkae to work so I started eatting chocolate . And now I have back problems and on meds and I want off them . So I think with getting my weight down and working out and rebuilding me again I'll feel so much better , I just need some help and a friend . I used to come to OH years ago so I am trying to find my way around this new forums so if I am posting in the wrong place please let me know . I would also like to say when I was a failthful member here years ago I found it to be the best place for help and to give help when I could so I would love to come back :)

Hi! I had the roux n y surgery one year ago. I have plateaued for a while, but I did lose over 90 pounds. I can give you some tips if needed.

I had my lapband for almost 4 years now, I have lost 100. Looking for a few people to be able to talk to about getting back on track and stuff like that, If you would like to be penpal please let me know. I think I am a cool person. LOL

Your welcome, I have a small bucket list in my head. I know now, I need to actually write it all down.... I have less than 20 days until my 1/2 marathon...
Good luck to all on your weight loss journey and don't get discouraged. We all fall, and yall can do it... :)

So far so good. I am having some trouble recently loosing my required weight loss mandated by my surgeon. I hope I get back on the waggon!! :)

Hi, I am looking for a few penpals that we can encourage one another while we are going through the surgery and weight loss process. I am just starting the process to get approved for the surgery and according to the surgeon my surgery could be in the fall. I live in the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario, Canada. Looking forward to making friends.
