I live in the Phoenix area, I dont have any friends here. I know a few people here but not close enough to share my journey with them. I havent had my surgery yet, I am still goin thru the 6 month supervised diet still (1 more month) then will be ready to go. Patient Advocate has everything else ready to go. So looking for friends, support, possible workout , wii workout, and/or walk buddies. You can add me as a friend on here to begin with just let me know where and how you found me. Will give ya my facebook, email etc info later as we get to know one another better.

I live in Phx, I am here alone with my fiance as well. My son and his family just recently moved here with me but his wife and 2 of the kids are going back till he can land a full time job and get a place here. Ol grandma here cant take the screaming, am in tears from it all the time. I do ride a bike as well.

Hi I have had the lap band since 09 and have not lost any weight. I have gained though. I am in a complete crappy mood about this. I see how others are doing and I get so upset. I am trying my hardest to bet Bandie to work with me. I exercise by power walking, and ZUMBA. I drink lots of water and have began logging everything I eat. Recently I have been making great choices. Last month I went for a fill and was too tight so 2 weeks later I had to get that fill taken out. I get stuck on certain foods and did not go thru this all not to have this work. I am so determined to make this work and maybe we can be a support system for each other that will make life with a lap band a little bit easier. All my support comes from OH

I have had gastric bypass in April 2005 and I am now feeling that I am very alone and need some support in the different things that I have been experiencing.

Hi there, I'm 32 years old, also looking for a penpal. Have you had your surgery yet or got a surgery date? I see that we're going to the same surgeon. Dr. Teel's a really nice guy I think, very informative and understanding. I'm having the lap RNY on the 24th. Out of curiosity, why did you choose the VSG?
