I would love to be friends with you and be a support and such. I haven't exactly shared anything about me either, bu I agree with you one hundred percent. I also have the support of my husband and he does understand about being overweight but will not really understand my problems or concerns once I have the surgery. You can add me as a friend if you want.

Hi, I have my surgery date now and I know that I am not scared but you have my support 100% My parents and step parent are wanting me to have the surgery for years. I wish that I was able to have it done back in 2003 but was told that unless I was a diabetic, on my death bed that they would not cover me. Now I am a diabetic, have severe sleep apnea, I am now covered.  You need to believe in yourself and you can come on here and get help with just about any questions.  You are doing the right thing by getting the surgery.  I have only had my tonsils taken and a set of tubes put into my ears when I was a little girl.  I want to let you know that I believe in you.  I am sure I will be scared when the time comes for the surgery to actually happen.  Just remember you are having this done to save your own life and YOU have the POWER to tell your family that.
