Almost 2 years out and a NORMAL BMI!!!

Hey gang, I almost can't type this I am so jazzed up right now. I just went to weigh at the doctor's office and I am now 162 pounds. That means my BMI is NORMAL!!! How wild is that? That's a big deal for someone that was Superobese and 432 pounds not quite 24 months ago!!! I still can't believe it!!! This surgery has been absolutely amazing. I have lost 270 pounds. My health is 10,000% better. I am so much more active now. I still battle the mind stuff....like head hunger and depression....but I guess that is my next big challenge to take. Bobby 432 / 162 / -270 and a NORMAL BMI!!!

Wow!!!!! I hope I get to my goal just at my 2 years time also. Congrats and don't stop being active....keep up the good work. As for the mind stuff as you say....it will happen and it's okay if you need or get the extra help....I've had to get that extra help and has been great......it's important to also take care of the mind cause for myself - I don't want to go back to what I was...so I want to take care of those things that cause those old habits to return. Bobby, you have done a fantastic job -- no doubt about it I have taken note of your success many times since I first began my research on WLS here at OH. I can only dream about how it must feel to finally be considered a "normal" BMI. You have come a long, long way baby!!!...you should be so proud of yourself!! I wish you much continued success.
