UPDATE ON MY STOMACH PAINS

Just want to give u all an update on my stomach pains. I saw another GI today on the recommendations of my surgeon, and I am scheduled to have the silistic ring removed next friday. I think I mentioned that is what has been causing my sharp pains as it started to erode into the lining of my intestine. It's nothing dangerous and will be done as an endoscopy procedure. So after next friday I will be back to normal. Thanks so much for all your replies and prayers. It means a lot to me. Love u all

Joanne I am obviously behind on what's been going on with you. I'm wondering since you had RNY surgery, what is a "silistic ring"? In any case I'm very happy to hear it's nothing serious and can be corrected easily. Marianne C.

IT'S A LITTLE PLASTIC RING THAT'S PUT AROUND THE POUCH, BUT I GUESS MY SURGEON HASN'T USED IT IN HIS SURGERIES FOR THE PAST YEAR. THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY AND TAKE CARE. HUGS
