would u "try out for ext makeover

well guys i need your help/advice/opinion i posted a little while ago about a casting call for extreme makeover in my hometown (orlando) next week. the more i think about it, i really think i want to go out there, at least to check it out and see what it will take to even get considered...question is....if there was a casting call in your hometown would you go out for it?? or should i just be happy with what i have accomplished on my own and not go out there? thanks for your help!

GO....GO.......GO!!!!! I THINK YOU SHOULD RUN ON DOWN THERE AND GO FOR IT. YOU SHOULD TRY ANY AND EVERY THING YOU WANT. I think if we have learned anything in this journey ....it is that life is worth the work it takes to make it fun and meaningful. I would go if it were in my hometown and was post-op because you have done the hard part. Enjoy the looks. You are in inspiration to the rest of us still trying to get to the other side. I wouldn't do it, but that's only because I'm too old and don't have much in the way of family and friends and I'd just look stupid on TV, but if it's in your heart to try out for it, then by all means, give it a shot!! I think it could be very exciting, don't you?

Are you kidding me??? I would crawl on my hands and knees. You have already done the hard part by losing the weight. So for a chance at *free* plastic surgery?? I would be there!! Go for it and best of luck!! Keep us updated. Erica

Marta, I say, "go for it". If you are willing to go thru all the protocol at the try-outs, then give it your best effort. I bet there will be quite a few people there, so be prepared to wait in line and bring lots of patience Good luck

I sent in an application before. They don't take WLS patients. And they don't take you if you have ever or currently work for Disney. But I might go check it out if I get out of work early. Plus it gives me an excuse to go shopping (like I need one!)
