Help.....Diarrhea!!!!

Amy, I am sticking to food program doc gave me. No milk either, always have had problems with it. Soy products only. Not used any splends, guess it is in some of my food products. Thanks, Marla

I also had this problem, starting the day after surgery. Of course they didn't see it as a problem, they thought it was great that the plumbing was working. Part of my Doctors regime is taking Sugar Free Citrucel Fiber Therapy. I use the orange flavor and mix it into Diet V-8 Splash Tropical Blend. I hear mixing it into the new orange flavor Crystal Light is good too. Anyway, I was skeptical that "fiber therapy" could help with the runny-tails, but it did! Michele

At this point all stores and etc are closed, so am sticking it out. Did take a "small" part of a scrip packet I had, so see where it goes from there. Did the citirucel Fiber give you gas? Took few years back. Marla

Citrucel doesn't cause gas at all, thankfully! Thats the last thing we need more of =)

Hey Marla I am so glad to see your home and well enough to come say Hi on the boards~ I am sorry to hear about the diarrhea, but have no advice! I am sure some of these other great folks do. I am still having trouble getting all my water in, so I know how you feel. Just take your time and do as well as you can! Thats all anyone can expect! Love and prayers! MICHELLE

Marla, Hello! I got an answer for you that worked almost immediately--- I too had the same problem at first. My doctor had me purchase plain yogurt and dilute an ounce of it with 2-3 ounces of water and pour it in my tube twice a day. I had my doubts but it really did work and it's cheap! Rebecca, you had a tube? the only tube I had was my JP drain and that came out the day I left the hospital. I am intrigued. Karee
