Where is EVERYONE!

I'm looking for all of those that came to the ATLANTA CONFERENCE last weekend. We need to get this GEORGIA BOARD alive. Each time I come here I see that everyone is and there is not much SUPPORT here.  We all have come a long way on our JOURNEY and we have a lot to be THANKFUL for.  So come on everyone lets come back to life. Today...unfortunatly...at work... I have all this freaking energy today that I need to USE and get house work and exercise done and instead I'm sitting at a desk playing with paper!  ARGH!  I stocked up a bunch of  consumables....but that isn't enough....any suggestions for exercising at work but at the same time...not freaking out my co-workers?  Hehe!  8 more hours work work to go!  *rattles her cage*

Ok...so I took a break and walked around the building at work... I think part of why I have so much energy is because I updated the music on my MP3 player to energy music...so I've been listening to Dresden Dolls and The Eurythmics all morning!  It helped a bit...I'm sweating..but..oh well...  I've been making the decision to take care of myself each morning when I wake up..and it makes me smile...and you know....6 weeks ago...there was NO chance I would smile in the morning! I have this renewed faith in myself and the courage to make the journey...and alot of that is thanks to everyone who was at the confrence!  Elle cracks me up with that cheese!  (my mom won the cheese) I've been reading my OH magazine on the bus...so inspirational...gotta keep myself from crying with happiness on the bus!  Eeek!  Haha!  I hope that I can project some of the positive energy out to all of you who are feeling discouraged and frustrated today.  I'm just starting my journey with WLS and I feel like..when the time comes to do it...I will have a good grasp of what to expect!  *BIG HUGS*

Heather,  You are so right! This JOURNEY is a wonderful one and I want you to know that I will be here for you to help you along your way. I know that I have been blessed with all the great things that I'm going. I'm so glad to be a OH Support Group Leader it really makes me feel really good knowing that I'm helping out others that need the SUPPORT. Hug's Jeannie

Hey Ms Jeannie, how are you dear? Here I'm Is I come in here a few times a day and see what all is happening but I dont see any new posts. Ginas trip to Fl was postponed and she had to go to N.C. with her family till Monday and she left me her car and guess what??? It quit on me haha.....talk about luck......if it wasen't bad luck I would have none at all haha.....I drove it to the lake to hang out with my sister for awhile before going to a meeting at church and when I wanted to let up the windows, the battery was dead or something was wrong with it dont know and her hubby will take a look at it tomorrow.....wow I was so upset and wigging out about it. I have no idea what could be wrong with it but maybe we will find out tomorrow ...anyway I am doing very good and although it is not documented by the pcp, I did get to weigh in Monday, and I am 379 and the grand total since September 06 is 171 down so I am so happy about that. I love my new life. I hope to be able to come to your meeting but dont know yet. If not maybe the one after this month??? See ya later.....

hey jeannie  I  came to Raleigh to help my nephew and niece get moved in.. he took a job about 8 weeks ago with a new company that he really loves.. the apt is very nice, and the hotel is great.  I will be  back early next week. I did leave my car for Renee to use while I am away, and it quit on her,, I really felt bad for her too. My hubby is going out to the lake tomorrow to see what he can do about getting it up and going again.. if he gets it running Sat, he is going to take to her again.. I will either be home late Monday or early Tues. Take care Peachy hugs Gina

I'm hoping that before long I will be able to get some work that I need done to my truck and will be able to come and see you and Renee' when I'm down in that area. Hey Gina, I guess this is a neat way we can stay in touch huh?? How is the trip going? Have you been able to get you some rest yet? I hope so cos girl you were worn out when I took you to meet sister Thursday. I have missed you since you have been gone. I hope you are having a good time. We got a call yesterday and my good friend from Jefferson Tx is coming to town Saturday and will only be here for a day or so and Judy will come get me and get me to the lake so I can go say hello to  her. She has not saw me since 2000. I cant wait to see her reaction. I hope Steve gets car going too I am so sorry about it. I hope he can figure out how to turn off the alarm haha....dont know or understand why it came on, boy that was weird. hope you have a good time while you are there.....I will see you next week.......Renee

Hey Renee,   The hotel is ok.. not as nice as Wingate, but ok. The trip has been at least interesting.. first, you called to tell me that my car had quit on you.. I am so sorry about that.. Steve did get it towed to the shop and it will be Monday before they can look at it, then we stopped at a rest stop in SC near Lake Hartwell, spent over an hour and half looking for the pet cat.. Jeni took the cat out, leashed it, forgetting the leash had a stretchy cord, cat got off, got away, she caught cat, put cat in carrier, forgot to zip top, and left window down, so out cat goes.. we looked for a good hour and a half, then we played swap the baby .. her car started smoking.. after we arrived, came to discover that she had driven her car to NC without oil, so she most likely blew a head gasket on the way up.. like I said it was Thursday, the 13th, but seemed more like Black Monday.. Friday, we got  up, met my nephew , daughter in law, baby, and went out for lunch, and then proceeded to start moving boxes.. we had to stop due to rain, and finished up most of the heavy moving yesterday.. still have a lot of unpacking to do today.. We probably won't  be home until late Tuesday.. Take care.. got to run..
