The next meeting of the Macon WLS group will be held on  Monday, Dec 10, 2007 in the Becham Fellowship Hall of  Cornerstone Baptist Church, 5399 Hartley Bridge Road, Macon, GA 31206. I hope to see everyone there.  Remember, this is our Christmas mini party with finger foods, appetizers, and etc.. must be weight loss friendly. If you need ideas for the party , please let me know, and I will gladly help you. I will make up some crystal lite for us to drink, and , of course, we always have ice and water available. I am looking forward to a great time.  I will be giving out a handout on Holidays and etc.. very useful information for this time of year. I also have the  last two issues of the OH magazine for those present. If I can manage, I do have some new samples to give out as well..    Like I said, this is our Christmas party, so wear your Christmas attire, bring your goodies, and come on out and have a good time..  Take care.. see you at the meeting. Oh, before I forget, for more information, call me at  478-335-1096 cell  email.. [email protected] Gina Landers, OH support group leader

Gina, Thanks for the Invitation to the Christmas Support Party! I do hope I will be able to come! I hope, I will be able to bring something "Lite and Low Calorie". Did you  decide not to do the Gift Swap?  I ,think this is so much fun! Maybe, some of the Warner Robins MINIMEES will come. Have you posted an invitation to them? Have you decided on the time? You haven't posted it on your note!

Whatever,I can do to help, let me know! Things here have slowed down some since we have gotten over the Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding and Wedding Reception, and Church Christmas Dinner. We only have three Dinners  this wk. After, this wk., We can breathe again and get into our regular routine for Retirees. I ,always get so stressed out, about going in sooooo many directions in Dec. Later, Lynda Phillips

If you guys want to do a gift swap, dirty santa game, let me know.. and we will keep the gifts under $10 to be reasonable. I am ok with a gift exchange.. guess I hadn't thought about it with everything I have dealt with since my heart cath, the bleeding, ER trip and acute bronchitis. I apologize.  Oh, and the meetings are always at 7:30 pm until 9:00 pm.. This gives everyone time to get home from work, get their kids settled, feed hubbies, etc.. before the meetings. Take care

Gina, I do wonder if  or just hoow many folks will be able to spend $10.00 for this gift. I was thinking about, maybe, Each person could bring a Dollar gift. This way, everyone would be able to participate.I realize,  Some people are hard pressed for money due to  other committments. Of course, Whatever you decide to do, I will try to participate. This is something to ponder on!  Have you thought about having some SF Peach Tea. It is so good! It  comes  in a cannister with 6 individual containers. Each (2) makes a gallon and it cost $1.76. It is great Value brand at Walmart..... You will love this tea! I have been thinking long and hard about what to bring for some Refreshments. Fruit might be a good choice, since almost everyone can have a little fruit..... Once again, Have you posted announcing the support meeting/Party  on the Minimees site? Linda sullivan, Angel Beale, Jane (whatever her name is, she is Linda's friend),Phylis,Tonya and James all of these probably still do the MINIMEES site. Joyce has already been told about the Party. I hope this has helped you some! How are you feeling? It is so wonderful, you do not have any problems with your health now! PTL  I have such a busy wk.  this wk., R's Christmas party and the Red Cross Party will be on Thursday. Sat., We have the Disaster Relief Christmas party in Perry. This is sponsored by the Ga. Baptist Assoc. They were stationed at our Church when Roberta wa**** by the Tornado. This is such an amazing group with so much enthusiasm, and willing ness  to go the extra mile to care for people and Glorify God.We were astounded that we would have to go to almost Tenn to get our Training Time in. God worked it out for us!!!!! I have to go to bed. Love, Lynda

Lynda,   I thought about what you said, and went ahead and made a new post stating that we would do a gift exchange with dollar gifts.. I bought 10 dollar gifts today, so I have 9 extra gifts, and feel that no one should feel bad that they weren't able to bring a gift, or goodies.. I know we will have more than enough food, and drink.. and I think plenty of gifts to share.. I hope to see you there.. I may need some help before the meeting to get everything set up.. I have plates, napkins, forks, and cups for Christmas..  Take care

Renee,   It will be good to have you at the meeting.. you don't have to bring anything.. The members present the past two meetings discussed and decided that they wanted to do this.. and there will be plenty of food if you decide to try any of the appetizer type foods brought.. I hope you and your friends are able to come. Take care
