Hi I had my WLS feb.1st and my husband and I just bought our 1st harley it is a fatboy nice name right LOL. but I am going to be the SKINNY woman on the fatboy. We are hoping to get to Myrtle Beach this year for at least on of their bike weeks, and maybe daytona in october.

I hope things start to pick up on this forum. I love to talk about riding.
I have a 2004 Sportster 1200 Custom. It is blue and black. I love to ride it to work because my patients get a kick out of having a biker nurse taking care of them. I didn't ride much before my surgery because I was feeling so bad about my body.
My hubby is wanting to get a Road Glide police package soon, then the Sportster will be all mine!!

Hey Kim,
I haven't been on here in a while because there wasn't much action for a while. I don't think anyone will mind what type of bike you ride if you don't mind a little light hearted ribbing every now and then.
We have a 2004 Harley Sportster 1200 Custom. It is the smaller Harley. My hubby is giving it to me and he is getting himself a Road Glide. I can't wait till the weather gets better so I can start riding it to work.

My friend Roger says there is nothing like a chick in a thong on a Harley, but you will never see this saggy butt in a thong. There isn't enough plastic surgery in the world!! I am hoping to win the lottery so I can afford a Brazillian butt lift! 
I would love to go to Sturgis some day. The national president of our bike club goes and preaches up there. We belong to Black Sheep Harley Davidson's for Christ.

I am getting LAP Band surgery on April 6, 2005 
I can't wait. My boyfriend and I have gained so much weight that we have not been riding together. He has a Road King and I just want to get on it and gooooo.

Sounds like all at the chili feed had a great time and the word is out that it's the place to be for chili. 
Hubby and I also belong to A.B.A.T.E. Region 18 in Michigan. Our chilli cook off was in Feb. We weren't able to attend, since Hubby and I have been awarded care givers to our granddaughters it's been hard for us to attend meetings. Besides the last meeting I went to I heard a man at the bar make a fat comment about me as we were walking out the door. Pretty much turned me off to attending meetings. I guess I haven't gotten the kahonez to go back. I honestly think my weight has held me back more than I want to believe. When people stare at you like you have a third eye. Not to mention the feeling of embarrassing my husband just by being with him. I try to be really friendly at most parties so that people will talk to me, most times only because I always make the first "Hi, How are ya?!" and force them to interact with me if they want to or not.
I can't wait to see the reaction on peoples faces after I start to shed the old ways and pounds. Glad to hear your on your way to better health.
