Yes, I feel more outgoing but its not just at holiday events its with life in general. I feel like I am much more approachable and not as socially phobic. I have even begun to act silly in my youtube videos and people tell me I have a talent. Have a great day! Kellie

Easter will be my first holiday where I'm on "normal" food, so this will be interesting. I just had my first dinner party at my home and it went very well. I'm looking forward to increasing my social activities.

My family has always centered holidays around food, so Im not sure how Im going to make it more about the holiday than the food. But we are all trying to eat better now, so who knows. Vivienne

As for the green beer....who cares!! Yuck yuck yuck!!! Now, give me a white russian and we'll have to talk...LOL. I am most definately more outgoing now and enjoy holiday activities more than ever. And all the food is no longer a bother. I know what I can and can't eat and how much I can eat and I don't let the food control me!! Michele

I like holidays more now because I don't overeat and feel so stuffed for hours like I used to feel. Now I can enjoy the holiday easily. It doesn't center on the big meal. It centers on family and togetherness. Jolene

I think I am. As my confidence level goes up I am more and more excited to be doing things out in public. We have a ball for all post op Bariatric Patients in April put on by the surgeons, dieticians and PA-Cs. I am so excited. I bought my gown last night and I used to wear a 24.....my dress was a 14!
