It's only recently begun to sink in that I am normal sized. I'm not MO, not fat, not even overweight.

I think I stalled about every 4-6 weeks, almost like clockwork. I just kept doing what I was doing and eventually the scale would move.

My kids are grown so they usually cook for themselves or they eat what I eat.

Hey Lea!
Still holding at 156!
Halloween goal is 145. Hubby is coming home from Iraq Oct. 25 so I really want to make this goal!! Hopefully this stall won't last long. Has anyone else had a problem losing after a postop surgery?
Katie

I am so incredibly happy these days. The surgery was more than I had hoped. Check out my blog entry on my profile. I posted my thoughts on the last year there yesterday.
I was at a support group meeting last night and met someone who is several years out. Actually, there were 3 people out of the 9 there who developed really bad cases of hypoglycemia. They developed these problems after being out a couple of years, so that's a little scary to me, but as we all agreed last night, we made a deal with the devil when we decided to have this surgery. We knew (or should have known) the risks and made the decision that the benefits of the surgery outweighed them.

Congratulations!!! Are you at a place in your life that you are happy with? Was the surgery all you hoped it would be? Jules

I usually choose grilled chicken without the bread or a grilled chicken salad. Last week, I got a small chili from Wendy's. I hadn't had one of those in a while. It was good, but then I like chili. Jules
